As of June 2021 we have been lucky enough to have Curtis Lavender as our musical director. He is a versatile multi-instrumentalist, who began his musical journey with saxophone lessons in primary school, followed by singing lessons at age 12. His involvement in diverse genres, from concert and big bands to high school rock bands and musical theatre, laid the foundation for his music career. He pursued a degree in Professional Music Performance at the Academy of Contemporary Music and has since performed in various settings, including the rock ‘n’ roll tribute show Lipstick On Your Collar and the variety show That’ll Be The Day. Curtis has also played guitar for Mamma Mia! The Party at the O2 and worked on original music projects. As a musical director, he has led productions such as High School Musical at The Hawth in Crawley and the award-winning Summer In The City at Upstairs at the Gatehouse in London. His current projects are Walk Right Back and A Vision Of Elvis.

The choir meet on a Wednesday evening for rehearsals at Findon Valley Free Church from 7.30 pm until 9.00 pm.

If singing is so good a thing - I think we all should learn to sing
