About Us

Singers Rechoired is a Community Choir of mixed voices who are based in and around the Worthing area of West Sussex. It was established in 2008 and since that time is very proud to have raised in excess of £31K for local charities.
The Choir generally performs at least 2 concerts each year, one in the Summer and one at Christmas, plus various other community events. We try to achieve a balance of singing from the latest pop, jazz, show music and classical  arrangements, to the firm favourites which are well known to audiences.
Alongside its commitment to the Community and local fund raising initiatives – the Choir has always set out to be the friendliest in the area. New members from age 18+ are  always very welcome, a heavy emphasis is placed on enjoyment both at rehearsals and in concerts. For this reason, auditions are not required, and voices of all standards are invited to join. An ability to read music is an advantage, but not essential.
To join us
Please fill out and submit the online form in the ‘Contact us’ tab. By joining the choir you agree to abide by the choir constitution and also to a  personal commitment to attend rehearsals regularly.
The fees start after the first 2 weeks and are due each subsequent month via a standing order of £15.00. This reduces the burden on the treasurer with management of choir funds, and provides a consistent regular income to meet our weekly overheads and music costs.
It is a requirement of the Choir that at Concerts a uniform or agreed colour scheme is worn at performances.

If singing is so good a thing - I think we all should learn to sing
