The choir started 2018 with a new venue and a new musical director in Evie Wakefield. The Covid pandemic forced Evie to move to work in London, and we wish her the best for the future. From June 2021 Curtis Lavender is our musical director. He is a multi-instrumentalist that has taught music 1-to-1 and in groups and has extensive performance experience in the industry. After graduating from the Academy of Contemporary Music with a degree in Professional Music Performance, he has played in a number of different settings, including playing with the touring rock ‘n’ roll tribute show, Lipstick On Your Collar, playing for a number of original music projects and even playing guitar for Mamma Mia The Party at the O2. He has also musically directed such local shows as “13” and “In The Heights” as part of Star Ignited Performance Academy, and loves having the ability to bring a group together in song.
The choir are hoping to reopen in mid July but only when FVFC and the Government give the green light.

The choir meet on a Wednesday evening for rehearsals at Findon Valley Free Church from 7.30 pm until 9.00 pm
If singing is so good a thing - I think we all should learn to sing
